Sustainability of Water Supplies from Natural Aquifers within the Shire of Yalgoo

Past Event

Do you have questions regarding water resources on your property and not sure who to speak to?
The following information sessions have been organized by the Shire of Yalgoo for pastoralists to hear directly from Departments of Water (DWER) & Mining (DMIRS) on issues relating to the sustainability of water supplies from natural aquifers within the Shire.
Friday 31st March at the Paynes Find Community Centre at 1pm
The sessions aim to:
1. Let pastoralists know who they can contact
2. Outline information about the rules & processes if you might have concerns about water resources on your property
3. If you have specific issues / problems you can contact the people after these sessions to discuss the matter further.
The shire wanted to make sure the pastoralists had good sources of information and advice so they can make better decisions in running their properties.
The sessions won't have all answers but will provide a good starting point.
If you have questions, please come to one of the session to learn more
