Excitement is mounting in Yalgoo as the town prepares to welcome visitors from near and far for its own special brand of outback entertainment at the annual Yalgoo Emu Festival. The smoke and alcohol-free family-friendly festival on Sunday September 30 is jam packed with fun challenges and hilarious emu-themed events at Yalgoo’s Old Railway Sporting Complex. Yalgoo CEO Silvio Brenzi said the increasingly popular annual festival was becoming a “must-do” event on the Mid West and Murchison social calendar. “The Yalgoo Emu Festival has become renowned for its hilarious brand of outback-style entertainment – you certainly won’t find anything like this in the city,” Mr Brenzi said. “The festival boasts the most wonderful atmosphere – full of laughs, high spirits and a real feeling of community.
