wiggleNew Australian Citizens swear allegiance in Citizenship Ceremonies
hosted by the Shire of Yalgoo.

An Australian citizenship ceremony celebrates the final stage of someone’s migrant journey and represents their ongoing commitment to their adopted country and to Australian values.

The Shire has celebrated  three citizenship ceremonies recently, arranged by the  Shire and the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.

The newest Australians in the Yalgoo region today, join more than four and a half million others who have chosen to become Australian citizens since the first citizenship ceremony in 1949.

To organise a Citizenship Ceremony contact the Shire Administration office, 37 Gibbons Street, Yalgoo WA 6635.
